The World Cup Is Not For Sale.

The Independent Supporters Council stands firmly opposed to FIFA's proposal to sell a stake in the commercial future of the FIFA World Cup through FIFA Forward Enterprise.

The World Cup is more than a commercial asset. It is the most important tournament in our sport because generations of supporters, players, volunteers, member associations, and local communities have built it together. That legacy should not be treated as an investment opportunity.

Just weeks after supporters from around the world demonstrated exactly what makes this tournament special, FIFA is asking its member associations to make one of the most significant commercial decisions in soccer history on an accelerated timeline and with financial pressure attached to the outcome. Decisions of this magnitude deserve transparency, meaningful consultation, and independent scrutiny, not artificial deadlines and ultimatums.

This sport’s greatest competition should remain accountable to the soccer community, not to outside investors whose responsibility is to generate financial returns.

We call on FIFA to withdraw this proposal in its current form and begin a transparent process that includes member associations, confederations, supporters, players, and other stakeholders before any sale of World Cup commercial rights is considered.

We call on CONCACAF to move beyond expressing concern and take a stronger leadership role on behalf of football in our region. The issues it has already identified—transparency, governance, consultation, and due process—are not procedural disagreements. They are the reasons this proposal should not move forward. CONCACAF should make that position unmistakably clear and be prepared to stand with its member associations in defending the long-term stewardship of the World Cup, including by considering every appropriate option available should FIFA refuse to withdraw this proposal.

The World Cup belongs to soccer. It is not for sale.

I tried v3game apk login but the page was taking time to load. Is this a common issue during busy hours, or does it depend on internet connection? If anyone knows, please reply.

I really appreciate how this article highlights the importance of keeping the World Cup accountable to the football community, not just commercial interests. On a lighter note, when I need a break from serious sports news, I like playing Subway Surfers Online for a few minutes—it's a fun, relaxing way to unwind.

Well said. The World Cup is built on the passion of supporters and the global football community, not just its commercial value.
